Negative thoughts play a big part in causing and making anxiety and depression worse. On the other hand, anxiety and depression make these negative thoughts even stronger. It's important to realize that constantly having negative thoughts can make a person feel drained and hopeless. This can stop someone from growing and being happy. However, getting out of this harmful cycle requires replacing negative tendencies with more positive ones. Accepting imperfections, acknowledging accomplishments, and practicing self-love can all help a person grow and find real happiness.
My goal as a psychotherapist (qualifying) and certified life coach is to empower you to gain control over your negative thinking habits and develop a more optimistic and resilient mindset. By working together, we can create lasting change and help you experience a greater sense of well-being and fulfillment in your life.
We'll face your negative self-talk head-on and break the patterns that have been holding you back. The people I've worked with using this approach have experienced a profound internal shift-they feel more satisfied, energetic, peaceful, and joyful. Book an appointment with me today and take the first step towards a brighter, more fulfilling future.

We face overwhelming uncertainty and complexity today, and I believe life is more psychologically challenging than any other time in modern history. We carry by ourselves what was never meant to be carried alone. The pace of our lives & its demands make it harder to tend to our inner life and connect with ourselves, our healing, & our wisdom. Yet tending to our inner life is so important for our well-being, our growth, our psychological flexibility, and our capacities to be resilient and make the most out of our lives.
Life can be better. It is my hope in our work together, you will give yourself the gift of lasting change, nourishment, discernment, and self-care. To facilitate this, I integrate a psychodynamic, polyvagal, and focusing oriented approach - with an extensive somatic experiencing framework to facilitate a warm, flexible, experiential, and authentic ecosystem.
I deeply believe in this process, in your healing, and in the wisdom guiding you towards the conditions that can support what needs to happen for you. I invite you to a 50 m consult for us to experience our fit, to answer your questions, and for us to decide what is best for you at this time.

I believe that everyone is doing their best at any given moment and that everyone has the ability to heal. Many people I work with are tired of old patterns of behaviours, thoughts and beliefs interfering in their lives. They hold a curiosity about wanting to learn more about their emotions, relationships with others and their inner world. With compassion, I support individuals to engage in exploring how such patterns, thoughts and beliefs are held within the body, impacting their relationship with themselves and others.
I have been a member, and am in good standing, with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers since 2008, Ontario Association of Social Workers since 2020
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and trying new recipes, camping, reading, gardening and being active. I love exploring new places!
