Tasha Nadia Matar
Canada
Tasha is a mixed queer Palestinian-Polish therapist that has journeyed through liminal space, both hiding in the shadows of not being enough of one and being too visible for being too much of another. She believes that therapy is sacred and a place to come back to oneself. She believes that far too many forms of therapy strip spirituality from healing, while finding meaning in our lives is an inherently sacred pursuit. She welcomes all faith backgrounds as well as experiences of spiritual trauma, guilt and abuse to her work. She also welcomes those who don't have any connection to spirituality.
She works to be in relationship with the experiences of the diaspora, and help her clients identify the generational wounds that take space in our bodies. She is attuned to issues of belonging and applies an attachment-based approach to help her clients feel at home within themselves and their communities.
She also weaves a trauma-informed somatic approach and art psychotherapy to support her clients to move through trauma, whether racial, political or interpersonal- and empower clients to transform it through the creative process to imagine new possibilities.
Through her personal experience as a child of immigrants and her experience working with survivors of political trauma and refugees, she has witnessed play be muted due to the need to survive. This is universal to anyone who has had adverse experiences that taught them to grow up fast. Her clients tend to be old souls with immense wisdom that had to grow up too quick due to trauma, and are seeking to reconnect with the wisdom of their childhood self. Tasha believes that play and creativity are vital sources of wisdom that help adults find freedom, and is always accessible to us despite circumstances.
When she is not in the therapy room, you can find Tasha playing with her inner child- through doing handstands, painting on any big wall she can find (mural art), and getting lost in nature.

Daryna Skybina (She/her)
Canada
My name is Daryna Skybina (she/her) and I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I am also conversationally fluent in Ukrainian and Russian. I strive to create an empowering, body positive, and culturally sensitive space where all can feel safe to explore any topics and concerns.
I have professional and lived experience with grief, loss, and advanced and chronic illness. I understand these experiences can be life-altering, traumatic, and can change how you view yourself and the world. And so, you need to adjust to a ‘new normal’, but you don’t have to do so alone. I would be honoured to support you through this process of healing and connecting with what you find meaningful.
I use an eclectic and client-centered approach to psychotherapy. I believe in the importance of whole-person care and am interested in understanding what’s important for you and bringing that into our work together. I recognize religion and/or spirituality may be an important part of your life and have experience inviting religion and spirituality into psychotherapy.

Supporting traditional & non-traditional couples in conflict (intimacy, communication, trauma, infidelity, life transitions), or when feeling like they're at crossroads in the relationship. My core belief is we all want to be loved, understood, and accepted. Childhood wounds, life stress, relational injuries can threaten this need, and get us stuck in repetitive cycles and patterns. My hope is to help gain insight and mindfully apply tools to support the mind and body, so we can find our way back to security and connection. Let's work collaboratively towards your goals! :)
I am a couple therapist, and use an integrative approach (EFT, Gottman, IFS, systemic models etc) tailored to suit your unique needs & context. Therapy with me is compassionate yet challenging, holistic (mind&body), insight oriented, educational, practical and deep.
I am here to listen to everything you have to say with empathy, compassion and curiosity. I believe that when we are heard in a non-judgmental and accepting way, we can start to lower our guards, tolerate difficult emotions that arise, and develop courage to express ourselves authentically and positively to others.

Zahra Halfal
Mississauga, ON, Canada
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO. I obtained a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the United States. My integrated psychotherapy approach for individual adults/teenagers, couples, and families combines relational, emotion-focused, attachment informed, trauma informed, and somatic elements. This comprehensive approach emphasizes the importance of your relationship with yourself and others, encourages emotional exploration, considers attachment histories, acknowledges trauma's impact, and fosters trust and positive self-esteem. It aims to promote individual/relational healing, inside and out.
I make an effort to bring openness and awareness for the different identities, faiths, and racial backgrounds of the clients I serve. This is also shaped by my own background as a Muslim, Pakistani woman. I also bring my personal experience as a wife and a mother, adding further understanding to my therapeutic work.
I bring vital parts of my personal self to my work - my gentleness, silliness, sensitivity, and compassion. I am fond of a good comfort meal, relaxing travel, a hot cup of tea, an inspiring quote, a good horror movie, and laughs with my friends and family! I look forward to making a connection and offering my knowledge and support to help you.

I am a South- Asian therapist who grew up in the Middle East as an
immigrant. I support adolescents(13+) and adults in their 20s and 30s.

Atheesan Mahendrarajah
Toronto, ON, Canada
My path to being a psychotherapist wasn’t straightforward. Countless experiences with many unexpected turns, both professional and personal, showed the profound impact of mental health on our lives.
What Sparked the Idea for Nebula?
The idea for Nebula came when I stumbled upon a quote by Indian-Tamil Aerospace-Scientist, Dr. Abdul Kalam.
“Where there is righteousness in the heart, there is beauty in the character.
When there is beauty in the character, there is harmony in the home.
When there is harmony in the home, there is order in the nation.
When there is order in the nation, there is peace in the world.”
How do you create a better world? You focus on improving nations. How do you improve nations? You strengthen communities. How do you strengthen communities? You focus on creating healthier families. How do you get healthier families? You focus on the well-being of individuals.
It all really does start with one person. From there, I knew I had to jump in to fill the gap and create a platform that breaks down barriers to mental healthcare.
Cultural Change : Imagine living in a world where therapy isn’t kept hush-hush, where it’s as openly discussed as any common health issue—a world where seeking help is normalized.
The views society has towards mental health support isolates and embarrasses many to even accept they might need help. What does this leave us with? A culture where silence perpetuates various forms of further suffering. A culture where people are held back from being able to heal and thrive.
We’re entering a new era. An era where therapy will be openly embraced. Nebula is excited to take part in breaking down societal constraints. We represent a space that promotes open-dialogue about mental health so judgment is replaced with acceptance.
Connect with me today to get started on your journey of well-being.
