Martha Giovanna Barreto Moreno

Giovanna has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, and a Master's in Counselling Psychology. She has dedicated her life to working in private practice since 2002, turning her passion into her profession and restoring the unseen pains of the soul and mind.

Giovanna has taught various classes in psychometrics at different levels of education, obtained Bachelor's and Master's degrees up to the highest level in her native Mexico, and became vice president of human resources for the National Attorney's Office.

She has participated in National and International Conferences, providing training and workshops for various levels and subjects.

She has worked for law firms in Mexico City, doing legal expert reports for the Court and providing psychotherapeutic treatments for families and individuals. In addition, Giovanna has volunteered for Chatham-Kent Victim Services for the last three years.

Over the years, Giovanna has worked with lawyers and immigration consultants to help migrants navigate complex legal procedures.

Giovanna is certified by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. In June 2022, she opened Gio's Counseling Services, where she provides counselling services to clients both in person and virtually.
